Legal-video alignment still moves among separate tools and review passes. This module is exploring a focused workflow without promising turnaround, platform coverage, or format compatibility before measurement.

What early access needs to validate.

  • Alignment under validation

    The early-access direction links deposition video with a reporter-supplied transcript for review. Accuracy targets will be published only after fixture-based measurement.

  • Named export formats

    Testing begins with explicitly listed input and output formats. Broad compatibility or trial-software claims are outside the current brief.

  • Reviewable designations

    The roadmap includes page-line designations, counter-designations, and clips generated from ranges that a reviewer has confirmed.

  • Camera and exhibit research

    Multi-camera alignment and prepared-exhibit context remain research items. Supported scope will follow workflow and fixture testing.

  • Desktop-first processing direction

    The working direction is desktop processing with browser review evaluated separately. No platform commitment is final.

  • Reporter-supplied text source

    The module is being designed around a reporter-supplied transcript as the text source. Transcript editing and certification remain outside the video workflow.

  1. Confirm supported source files

    An early-access participant receives the tested video, audio, and transcript requirements before providing files.

  2. Review alignment and ranges

    The proposed workflow connects footage with transcript lines, then asks the reviewer to confirm alignment and any designation range.

  3. Export only a tested format

    Clips or packages are created only in formats named in build-specific compatibility notes and remain subject to normal review.
