Product-specific updates · pricing before paid launch · built by working pros

One company, many products.

DepoStack is the company. DepoStickers, DepoDraft, and DepoSync lead the commercial roadmap; DepoAudio and CasePrompts are already available today.

Principles, not just features.

The human leads

Judgment, authority, and the record stay with the professional who earned the seat. The software never overrules the human.

The machine assists

Tireless, fast, genuinely capable — working for the professional, never around them. The expertise stays yours; the busywork becomes ours.

Windows, Mac & web

Native where it belongs and in the browser where it helps — Windows, Mac, and web, depending on the app or service. No virtualizing just to work.

Pricing you can see

Before each paid launch, pricing will be published openly — the same number for everyone, with no backroom rates or surprise contracts.

Everyone on the record.

Choose an audience

Steno, voice, or digital — tools as sharp and dependable as the work you do, so you can focus on the part only a human can: getting the record right.

Legal video that stands alongside the record, not bolted on after — synced, dependable, and built with the same care reporters get.

Built for how counsel actually works today — native on the Mac, the iPad, and the browser, not trapped on a Windows-only desktop.

Built for the people who keep the work moving — by people who’ve run it, and know where the day actually breaks.

However the record is captured.

Steno, voice, digital, or legal video — built for the professionals who make the record, not just one way of making it.

Stenographic

Machine shorthand with realtime translation.

Voice

Voice writing and speech-to-text reporting.

Digital

Multi-channel audio capture and monitoring.

Legal video

Synced video for the visual record.

AM Andrew Mayes, founder of DepoStack

Hi — I'm Andrew.

I've spent my career building for the people who do critical, behind-the-scenes work — much of it alongside those who create and protect the legal record. The closer I looked, the clearer it became: the professionals who capture the record are some of the most skilled people in the whole system — and the tools they're handed haven't kept up.

I started DepoStack to change that. Not to automate reporters away, but to give them tools as sharp and dependable as the work they do — quietly handling the busywork so they can focus on the part only a human can: getting the record right.

Questions, answered.

What is DepoStack?

DepoStack is a software company building modern, open tools for the people who make and rely on the legal record. DepoStickers, DepoDraft, and DepoSync are the first commercial release family; DepoAudio and CasePrompts are already out in the world.

Is DepoStack open source?

Some of it. We build both open-source and commercial software — DepoAudio is open source today, and other products are commercial. Either way, your data stays portable and there’s no lock-in.

Which capture methods do you support?

All of them. DepoStack is built for the record however it’s captured — stenographic, voice writing, digital (audio), and legal video. The method is yours to choose; we build for the professionals behind each one.

What happens to my data — am I locked in?

No. Your data is yours and stays portable. DepoStack is built so that leaving is easy — which means we have to earn your business every year. No lock-in, no contracts, and no holding the record you produced hostage.

Does it run on Mac?

For decades, court reporting software has effectively required Windows — which has kept the Mac out of the field almost entirely. We’re changing that: DepoStack will run on Windows, Mac, and the web, depending on the app or service, so no one has to spin up a virtual machine just to work.

How is it priced?

Transparently. Before a product becomes paid, its price will be published openly — per seat or per use depending on the product — with the same public price for everyone.

When does it launch?

DepoStickers is the first private beta, followed by DepoDraft and DepoSync through early access. DepoAudio and CasePrompts are already available today. Join the waitlist and we’ll send only product-specific launch news.

Who is building DepoStack?

Andrew Mayes — a working court reporter and the technology director of a 45-year-old reporting firm — along with the team behind DepoAudio and CasePrompts.
