Rough-draft review can require repeated listening, searching, and re-entry. Review is researching where audio alignment and clear uncertainty cues can help without replacing reporter judgment.
The early-access goal is to align supported audio with reporter-provided output so a reviewer can move between a rough-draft line and the relevant audio.
The direction treats every suggested word, speaker, and punctuation change as optional. Silent changes and automated certification are outside the brief.
Research is exploring how low-confidence words, suspects, untranslates, conflicts, and inaudible spans can be surfaced without presenting a finished-looking transcript.
The intended workflow starts with supported audio and a reporter’s own notes or rough output. Accepted formats and timing behavior will be disclosed per test build.
The concept explores using a notice, witness worksheet, or exhibit list to suggest matter terms. Data handling and deletion terms must be approved before testing files.
Any early export remains a rough draft for reporter review. Supported formats, pagination behavior, and the boundary around final production are not yet published.
An early-access participant receives the supported-input and data-handling terms before providing audio or reporter output.
The proposed workspace connects flagged spans with the relevant audio while leaving every accept, edit, or keep decision to the reporter.
Any tested export remains a rough draft and moves into the reporter’s existing editing, quality-control, and certification process.
